Established Business Relationships:
If someone has purchased, rented, or subscribed to your services within the past 18 months, you have an “established business relationship.” This allows you to contact them unless they specifically request otherwise. You can also reach out within three months of someone inquiring about your services. Written consent from the recipient is another exemption.

Political Calls: Calls for political campaigns or polling are exempt, as long as they don’t involve selling goods or services.

Charitable Contributions: Soliciting donations is exempt from DNC compliance, even for for-profit organizations. However, you must honor requests from individuals who no longer wish to be contacted.

Debt Collection: Calls about debt collection or credit issues aren’t subject to DNC rules.

Informational Calls: Non-promotional calls, like appointment reminders, are exempt. However, mixing informational content with promotional material voids this exemption.

Business-to-Business Communication: Calls between businesses for professional purposes are generally exempt.

An internal list of numbers not to contact.

Records showing you accessed the Registry at least 31 days before calling.
